Reached the Unreached Program
The Education division of SpeakGuru Foundation was formed to create awareness about the importance of education and to help students who do not have access to basic educational facilities.
Statistic shows that 40% of India's population is below the age of 18 years, which at 400 million is the world’s largest child population. An estimated 8.1 million children between 6-13 years are out of school in India and millions more do not attend school regularly.
- Of these, 4.1 million (3.9 per cent) are boys an 4.11 million (4.7 per cent) are girls
- A significant proportion belongs to disadvantaged groups including 5.9 per cent to Scheduled Castes, 5.6 per cent to Scheduled Tribes and 2.6 per cent to Other Backward Classes
- An estimated 4.5 per cent are from rural areas and 3.1 per cent from urban areas
- Nearly 34 per cent of children with disabilities are out of school.

The Foundation runs the 'Reach the Unreached' program to help students and schools located in remote villages by supplying textbooks, school stationary and computers.
